The 2019-nCoV coronavirus outbreak is an emerging global health crisis. To date, people in China have suffered the greatest harm with 42749 infected cases and 1017 death, and the numbers keep increasing everyday… We have heard the urgent shortage of medical resources from the frontline health workers and hospitals, as well as the group homes, like children’s (social) welfare institute. Living Hope Adoption Agency is raising funds and assisting with donating supplies to support the frontline health workers, hospitals, orphanages and other affected communities. Living Hope has already sent the first shipment of 2500 masks to three orphanages in Baotou and Beijing. We are hoping to send more shipments soon to the orphanages and hospitals in the areas most affected by the outbreak. We have contacted the following orphanages and hospitals that can accept our donations directly--

- Baotou Social Welfare Institute (Inner Monggolia)
- The Central Hospital of Wuhan (Hubei Province)
- Hubei Third People’s Hospital (Hubei Province)
- Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University (Hubei Province)
The urgent shortage of certain supplies include surgical masks, medical gloves, medical caps, protective suit, goggles. We will be continuing to collect these items as well as monetary donations to go towards shipping costs. Considering the urgency, we will send these donating items to China via courier services such DHL, FedEx or UPS which is very costly. We are grateful for any and all assistance in this urgent time of need!
