Tuesday Drop-in Now Four Hours! Split by Skill Level. Starts Feb 11
To help pickleball players get more court time and similar-level play, the Silverthorne Rec Center has expanded Tuesday pickleball hours from three to four!
However, each individual player must choose whether to play the first half or the second half of the four-hour pickleball period, as follows:
- 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM: Lower skill level
- 1:30 to 3:30 PM: Higher skill level
It's up to you to judge your own skill level and whether it's more appropriate for you to play during the period starting at 11:30 AM or the one starting at 1:30 PM.
On Tuesdays at 1:30 PM all people who have been playing in the first period must leave the courts. We will sound a cow bell at 1:25 PM and then a second cow bell at 1:30 PM, at which time the switchover to participants in the higher skill level will take place. SRC prohibits any individual from playing in both the earlier and later periods.
Thank you for respecting SRC's rules, as well as for cooperating with those coordinating implement shuttle play, once we reach four stacks (four paddles each) waiting to play.
