So this happened! Just along the road from CAT HQ, down by the ferry slipway and Slaughterhouse Coffee, the CROMARTY CINEMA opened its doors for the first time on 31st Jan and has been delighting movie-goers several times a week ever since.
Run in partnership with Eden Court, the 35-seat cinema offers a top of the range viewing experience showing new releases, kids' films, old classics and well, hopefully something to suit all tastes! Also available for private hire, conferences, gaming nights and more. You can become a Friend for only £25 per year and receive £1.50 off the standard ticket price of £7.50 as well as priority booking for the annual Cromarty Film Festival. All details are on the website.
NB. There is no booking system yet in place for February screenings so it's first-come, first-served at the door. For March bookings onwards, you will be able to purchase tickets
in advance via Eden Court's system.
What an amazing achievement by a small bunch of film-loving volunteers in a town of only 700!
