Shift4 Payments recently acquired Merchant Link, and due to outdated security technology, two of Merchant Link's six gateway platforms will be decommissioned. Impacted merchants (see below for more information) have until March 31 to upgrade their payment processing platforms - failure to do so in this timeframe may result in service disruptions.
Merchant Upgrades
To initiate the upgrade process, merchants can email upgrade@merchantlink.com or call 888.984.1243. Additional information can be found at merchantlink.com/upgrade. You do not need to change your processor to upgrade, and you can specify that you are looking to make the necessary solution upgrades only.
