Sojourner Truth: A Tale of Two Statues
On February 22, two world-renowned artists commissioned to form sculptures of the legendary abolitionist Sojourner Truth will come to Kingston to talk about creating their monumental artworks. This Black History Month event is free to the public and co-presented by MAD, Harambee and MyKingstonKids.

Annie Dwyer: Writing + Visual Arts + Stories
Artist Annie Dwyer, a teacher at The D.R.A.W., combines her two loves into engaging books, animations, mini-comics and graphic memoirs, and she loves teaching young people. Her “Fantastic Drawing” class, which focuses on mixed media and construction, runs February 13 through April 2. She’s also conducting a three-week summer project for middle school students on media arts and communication.
