Dear supporters of WoMena,
We hope you are well in spite of the difficult circumstances we all face. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected WoMena's work too, as we follow the advice from respective governments and WHO and take all necessary precautions to protect our teams and beneficiaries.

However, women, girls and transgender people continue to menstruate. In fact, the conditions for those on their period in low-income settings will only be made more difficult. As the world goes into lockdown, experts foresee higher rates of domestic violence and low to zero access to reproductive health solutions for millions of menstruating people.

As a small organization, WoMena is also vulnerable. We will most likely lose a part of our funding over the next months, but we do not want to stop working on these issues. In these times of uncertainty, we are very grateful for any help you're able to give to our work.

“When I got the products, I feared to use the cup but when WoMena came back for follow-up and refresher, I made up my mind to try it.

So when I got my periods, I inserted it and felt some pain and uncomfortable but did not remove it. When I tried the second time I did not feel pain and I was very comfortable. Since them I am happily using both products interchangeably.”
