Jules Fothergill Young Blues Artist of the Year Award

We are naming the Young Blues Artist of the Year after the much missed Jules Fothergill. Ashwyn Smyth, said "We are delighted to be able to both remember and to honour Jules Fothergill in this way."

"Jules was a man who when he touched the life of anyone around him, he always did so in a positive way; whether as a teacher, a musician, a friend, a colleague.., he always inspired, was generous with his time, and went the extra mile to make people feel that they were special," said his wife Lorna who will present the Award in May. "I’m Proud. Immensely. I always have been - he was an extraordinary human in so many ways"
