Dear Lumen members and friends,
We are writing to inform you that on February 6th in Rome, the Chapter Fathers elected Father John Connor, LC as the general director of the Legionaries of Christ for a period of six years.
Many of you know that Father John has been the territorial director of the North American Territory since May 1, 2014. Previous to that time he was one of the co-founders of the Lumen Institute and has been an active board member since our inception. His election shows the esteem his brother priests have for his faith, character and leadership, all virtues he honed in his many years of work with the Lumen Institute.
The Lumen Institute is proud to see one our founding members be honored with such a pivotal and important responsibility.
We congratulate Fr. John on his new responsibility and assure him of our prayers.
