Joint Case Western Reserve University &
Tongji University Program
Ranked #2 in China

Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management is receiving international attention for its joint Master of Science in Management-Finance program with Tongji University in Shanghai, China. The program was ranked second among hundreds of finance-focused MBA programs in China by MBAChina and "Manager" magazine as part of its Top 10 Best Finance MBA Programs of China Business School in 2019 list. The partnership was only ranked behind the joint program between Cornell and Tsinghua universities.
“Our strong presence in China all these years has something to do with the growth and sustainability of our applicant pipeline from China for our programs in the United States,” said Anurag Gupta, the program’s director and H. Clark Ford Professor of Banking and Finance, as well as the vice dean at the Weatherhead School.
The Weatherhead-Tongji program launched in 2011 and its 10th cohort will begin this fall. Students who complete the program earn a Master of Science in Finance degree from Weatherhead and an MBA from Tongji.
