Help shape our future communications

The Australian Space Agency is reviewing how we communicate with our stakeholders and we want to hear from you. Wherever you sit in your organisation, from admin to sales to technical, or you just have an interest in the Australian Space Industry, we want you to tell us what we're doing right and where we can improve. The results of this survey will help inform how we shape our future communications to make sure we're giving you information, at the right time and how you like to receive it.

The online survey, conducted by an independent market and social research firm, Fiftyfive5 will take around 5-8 minutes and all responses are non-identified. You can also close your browser and finish at a later time.

Please feel free to share this link with interested colleagues. The survey will close Monday 9th February 2020.

An additional survey will be sent next week to seek your input to an economic analysis of Australia’s space industry, including a baseline against which the Agency will use to monitor the growth and transformation of the sector.

50th Anniversary for Oscar 5

Fifty years ago, Australia’s second satellite was launched in the U.S., piggy-backed with a NASA weather satellite. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Australis-OSCAR 5, the University of Melbourne, now home to the Melbourne Space Program, held an event honouring the original Australis team, several of whom were in attendance. The Agency was proud to support this event as a tribute to these Australian space pioneers.
Watch a Nine News' story with one of the satellite creators, Dr Owen Mace, and the Agency's Anthony Murfett.
