We are very privileged to be able to offer an exclusive small group tour of the Royal Gardens at Highgrove, led by one of HRH The Prince of Wales’s expert guides.
Highgrove is the private residence of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, near Tetbury in Gloucestershire. Since 1980 when the Prince of Wales first arrived at Highgrove, His Royal Highness has devoted much energy to transforming the gardens around the house, which are renowned as some of the most inspiring and innovative in the United Kingdom. The Royal Gardens at Highgrove are open for small group guided tours on selected dates between May and August each year.
The Royal Gardens at Highgrove comprise a varied collection of landscapes, from the genteel environs of the Sundial Garden to the unstructured beauty of the Wildflower Meadow. There is much to discover in this extraordinary collection, a garden over 35 years in the making, created with passion, vision and dedication by HRH The Prince of Wales.
The gardens encapsulate the unique ambience of Highgrove and showcase its rich variety of landscaping and flora and fauna.
Our group tour will be led by one of HRH The Prince of Wales’s expert guides, on a two hour tour through the extraordinary and inspiring Royal Gardens at Highgrove, providing a unique insight into family life on the Estate and tales of how HRH has crafted each organic garden from scratch. The course of the tour covers approximately 2 miles. Visitors with walking difficulties should be aware that garden routes are unmade and bumpy. Visitors are advised to wear sturdy shoes, wellies or walking boots as tours continue, regardless of weather.
After our tour, you will be able to browse the Highgrove Estate Shop where you’ll find an extensive collection of artisan products, from beautiful home and garden ware to country attire, jewellery and even HRH The Prince of Wales’ very own artwork. There will also be time to purchase lunch or snacks in the Orchard Tea Room.

**Due to security regulations, all visitors must bring a form of photographic ID with them on the day of their visit, ideally a passport, driving licence or bus pass.
**Highgrove is The Prince of Wales’s private home. The use of mobile phones, cameras, binoculars and all forms of recording equipment is prohibited on the Highgrove Estate for security reasons.
