On behalf of the board of the Alzheimer Society of Cornwall and District, we are very pleased to share with you that we have recruited a new Executive Director to follow Shelley Vaillancourt’s retirement.
Caroline Guimond has accepted the position of becoming our Society’s new ED. She will begin on March 16, 2020 as transitional time with Shelley Vaillancourt.
Caroline was working with the Society when she was a Senior Integration Specialist for the Champlain LHIN. She is familiar with some of our work and the work of the Champlain Dementia Network. Please help make Caroline feel welcome as she joins our team!

On April 16, 2020 at 6:30pm join us in celebrating Shelley’s legacy. This is a Fundraiser, we will use your financial support to raise $10,000 to expand Mind in Motion, so more people with dementia and caregivers in our community can benefit from this exceptional program. Fundraising Host, Layne, “The Auctionista,” will lead our first ever Fund-A-Need.
Three decades, we have partnered together to meet many challenges to help alleviate the personal and social consequences of dementia. I am asking for your presence and your financial support to help us do it again.”
