The current exhibition AUTOBIOGRAPHIC continues at The Gallery of Everything until the 15th of March 2020. 
 
The show features early works of art brut master, Carlo Zinelli, as well as a range of double-sided artworks from the 1960s, authenticated and sourced through the Carlo Zinelli Foundation and available exclusively at the gallery.

In dialogue with these works, The Gallery of Everything presents a life-time survey of monochromatic dreamscapes and colour thought-forms by Valerie Potter, the self-taught British fabric artist celebrated and curated by Roger Cardinal.

This weekend The Gallery of Everything will be screening three films in conjunction with the exhibition:

- Imagine: Turning the Art World Inside Out (BBC, 2013)
- The Salon of Everything with Professor Vittorino Andreoli and Thomas Houseago (2013)
- Outsider Art (Artisan Pictures, 2001)

The films will be played on rotation downstairs in the gallery during regular opening hours.

Alongside AUTOBIOGRAPHIC, the black and white embroidery of Valerie Potter can also be seen in MONOCHROMATIC MINDS, a group show at the Candid Arts Trust in London EC1, curated by Jennifer Gilbert.

Featuring a wide range of international artists and makers, the exhibition investigates the significance of the monochromatic palette to non-academic artists and makers.

Artists exhibited or represented by The Gallery of Everything include Nek ChandMadge GillDan Miller, Nigel Kingsbury and Harald Stoffers.

TO SEE FROM A DISTANCE has recently opened at the Drawing Center in New York on February 20th 2020 and represents the first institutional presentation and lifetime survey of Chinese artist Guo Fengyi.

Self-taught and prolific, Guo Fengyi's private practice was made public towards the end of her life, until she passed away in 2010. She has been exhibited regularly at The Museum of Everything, as well as at Hayward Gallery (2013) and at the 55th Venice Biennale (2013).

A selection of diagrammatic and figurative works on paper by this visionary draughtswoman are currently available for sale. Please contact the gallery for details.

WE WILL WALK - ART AND RESISTANCE IN THE AMERICAN SOUTH at Turner Contemporary in Margate presents pioneering self-taught African-American artists and makers in the first exhibition of its kind in Britain.

Focussing on issues of race, class and wealth distribution, as well as art environments, the show has been described as groundbreaking (Lanre Bakare, The Guardian) and long overdue (Louisa Buck, The Art Newspaper).

Artists on display include Hawkins Bolden, William Edmondson and Bill Traylor. A selection of works by these once overlooked artists are currently available for sale. Please contact the gallery for details.
