Spring will be here before you know it. When the weather warms up, many people take the opportunity to declutter, reduce, and get some spring cleaning done in their homes. But before you take that “throw it away” mentality, think about reuse and recycling for those items that you haven’t used in a while. Besides being open Monday thru Friday from 9am-4pm and Wednesdays from 9am-6pm, the DCRC will be open on Saturdays in March.
As you’re clearing out junk and filling garbage bags in the coming weeks, here are some items that can be brought to the Dearborn County Recycling Center Drive-Thru to be recycled. We accept more items than listed. For a more comprehensive list visit our website at DearbornCountyRecycles.com or call us at 812-926-9963 if you are unsure if an item can be recycled. The DCRC Drive-Thru is for residents of Dearborn County only. Cash or checks are accepted for fees.

ReProm Dress Exchange Makes the News
Ashley Smith from Fox19 came to the DCRC to do a story on ReProm. She even tried one of the dresses on!
You can see her story at https://www.fox19.com/2020/02/28/reprom-offers-dress-exchange-low-cost-dresses-prom-season/
Do you have a dress to donate?

You can donate a formal dress, even if you don't want one in exchange. Dresses should be contemporary, clean, and in ready-to-wear condition. Donations are accepted Monday through Friday 9am-4pm, and Wednesday 9am-6pm. If you have questions about donating, please call 812-926-9963.

Did you know we also accept like-new dress shoes and accessories that go with our formal dresses?  We don't require an exchange or donation for accessories or shoes, they're just a little something extra to go with the dress!
Show us your talent!
