General Info About RollerCon Games

  • Any scrimmage-safe MVP or Skater pass holder with validated insurance can skate or captain a Challenge. Off Skates passholders may captain (off skates), as well.
  • RollerCon games are open for viewing to all RollerCon passholders and RC passholders only. Your family and friends can get tickets to see your game! We call it an Off Skates Convention Pass. Only passholders can enter the facility. We recommend that you get them in advance when they are inexpensive. LIKE RIGHT NOW. They are NOT inexpensive on site; we price them higher to discourage civilians who don’t understand our culture from coming in to gape at us.
  • Buy passes for your friends & family:

  • New staff, start at: Volunteer Application Form
  • Returning staff – welcome back! Log in to Volgistics
  • Job Descriptions are available in Volgistics. Expand the list (on the left) by clicking on the plus sign to see job descriptions in every department.
  • Many volunteers work in multiple departments. Hours total together.

Plus special, limited-edition, volunteer-only tee shirts!

How will I know if / when I’ve been hired?
After you fill out the Volgistics application form, you’ll get a confirmation email with login instructions.

How do I get scheduled?
Shifts go live in the summer when the schedule stabilizes. We typically put them in departmental batches and announce they’re up on our RC FB Volunteer Group. As soon as you see a shift you want, you can schedule yourself for it. We love when you choose a schedule in advance, but you can also sign up & choose shifts on site, as well.

RollerCon is super proud of our Nations Tournament!  Participating nations in 2019 included Team Canada, Indigenous Rising, the Japan Fam, Jewish Roller Derby, Team Korea and Team Philippines. Will YOUR nation play in 2020?
Last year we debuted our very first STEM Showcase featuring professionals specializing in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. We hosted a fun hour of kid games and roller derby for Vegas-local summer kids programs, including Boys & Girls Club and more. Tickets for the game benefited Girls on Track Foundation. Heartfelt thank yous go to the Fabulous Sin City Rollergirls for bringing their juniors, FrogMouth Clothing for the beautiful uniforms, and El Oro Madre for providing great tees for our STEM Ambassadors. We can't wait for next year!

If you are a STEM student or professional who wants to get involved at RollerCon 2020 please join RollerCon STEM Family to find out more about our 2020 STEM benefit!
