My name is Dave Keene and I am a research fellow and physiotherapist. I am leading a project just funded by NIHR RfPB looking at rehabilitation for adults aged 50 years and over after distal radius fracture:

 https://www.fundingawards.nihr.ac.uk/award/NIHR200458

The focus is on developing a challenging self-guided rehab programme for patients who have not developed post-fracture complications that necessitate specialist hand therapy input, and so typically get discharged at the fracture clinic visit when the cast/splint is removed.

We are planning to hold an intervention development day in Oxford on the 7th April.

We would like to get a group of people who work with this patient group to help refine the interventions before recruitment begins later in the year. We have limited places but if anyone is interested then please email me to ask any questions or book a place at the meeting.  We will be able to offer standard class travel reimbursement and lunch and refreshments on the day will be provided.

Thanks in advance
Dave
