LCA Athletics to Host Charity Basketball Game for Kentucky Food Ministry

You may have seen this news story about Kentucky Food Ministry, which was started by Aaron Bruner, an LCA junior and other LCA students. On Sunday, February 23 at 1:30pm, the LCA Staff will take on the Lexington Media in a charity basketball game in the Main Gym at the Rose Campus. Admission is $5 per person and all admission proceeds will go to KFM. Check out the LCA roster HERE!

Summer Camp Registration Now Open
LCA Summer Camp is truly unique in that we offer several field trips per week without leaving the property. All of our activities and field trips bring their programming to us! For more info and to register click HERE.

LCA Lacrosse Team Fundraiser
Barrel & Co. has teamed up with LCA's Lacrosse Team to offer an evening of fun! Join us on March 16 from 6pm-9pm and paint your own customized authentic barrel head product. All you must do is pay for your spot then email us your design choice. Everyone gets to choose their own customized design. For every ticket purchased, half will be donated to the Lacrosse team. Congrats to the LCA Elementary Archery Team
The LCA Elementary Archery Team competed this past weekend in the region tournament and placed 2nd! Tristan Savchuk placed 2nd and Brennon Hurst placed 4th in elementary boys. The team will be participating in the state tournament in March.

We are so thankful to all of the families and staff who participated in the Salvation Army Bell Ringing for 2019. The total raised by the Salvation Army was $206,275.79, and LCA's efforts raised $6,909.50 of that total amount. The Salvation Army is grateful for the part we played in aiding many individuals and families during Christmas and throughout the year.

We Love Our Lunch Volunteers!
During February, we are trying something different - volunteers have an option to sign up for 1 hour or both hours. We have many slots available. Our lunch time runs better when 3-4 volunteers can help. Sign up here.

Donations for DanceBlue Clinic
Tomorrow, February 21 is the last day for students to bring in donations for the DanceBlue Clinic. The following items can be placed in the bins that are located at the high school student entrance:

crayons, markers, colored pencils and coloring books
mittens and socks
pre-packaged individual snacks and juice boxes
travel size items, chapstick, and lotion
paintbrushes, water colors and Play-Doh
small Legos and books
