BOOK TRAILER CONTEST

Do you like books?  Do you like making videos?
Consider entering Alexandria Library’s Book Trailer Contest!

What is a Book Trailer?
A book trailer is a video setting the tone and summarizing the plot of a book. Like movie trailers, book trailers give viewers a visual representation of a novel. We challenge you to create an exciting and engaging trailer that will entice viewers into reading the book.

How to Enter:
Create your trailer, then fill out the online submission form.  All entries must be received by April 30, 2020.

Judging:
All video submissions with completed entry forms will be posted online from May 1 through May 8 for voting.  You may vote multiple times during that time period.  The top three trailers from each age group will receive prizes.

Winners will be announced on May 9 via email and prizes will be mailed out to the winners.

Digital literacy builds on traditional forms of literacy, but focuses on building skills that allow individuals to improve their ability to find, evaluate, produce and communicate information on various digital platforms.

Find short tutorials that will help empower you to be more comfortable with technology and allow you to learn at your own pace on the
