Registration Open for CHS Inhibitor Workshop!
The Canadian Hemophilia Society is hosting a national workshop for families with children who are living with inhibitors: new this year, adults with inhibitors are also invited.
It will be held at the Holiday Inn International Airport Hotel, Toronto the weekend of April 17-19, 2020. Applications are due March 6th 2020.

World Hemophilia Day 30th Anniversary!
This coming April 17th, World Hemophilia Day will be celebrating its 30th anniversary! This year, the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) has designated the theme “Get+involved”. It is a call to action for everyone to help drive the WFH vision of “Treatment for all” at the community and global level. Whether you are a patient, a family member or caregiver, a volunteer, or a health care provider, it is meant to encourage you to help increase the awareness of inherited bleeding disorders and the need to make access to adequate care possible everywhere in the world.
The Manitoba Chapter is so proud of our Twinning Committee who completed their 4 year project with Mongolia and are now starting our partnership with the patient group in Serbia. Come to the AGM and Education Day on Saturday April 18th to learn more!

Gala Dinner Emcee Susie Erjavec Parker
We are so pleased to announce that Susie Erjavec Parker will guide our guests through the evening on March 14th. Susie is a social media marketing expert, writer, and trusted media commentator on the current and future state of digital and social media having been featured on CBC, CTV, Global News, The Globe and Mail, MoneySense Magazine, Corus Radio, and more. As principal of SPARKER Strategy Group she consults on public relations, marketing trends, and the intersection of consumer behaviour. Susie is well known in Winnipeg and we look forward to her participation in this event!

Prize Help Needed!
The Gala Prize Committee is looking for 2 restaurant gift certificates to complete a prize package. If you have a gift certificate for a restaurant you aren't planning to use, please consider donating it to the Chapter. If you are willing to purchase a gift card to your favourite restaurant we would be equally grateful to you! We are hoping to complete the prizes soon so let the Chapter office know if you can help!

The Gala Dinner is the Chapter's most significant fundraiser. Money raised at this event helps us to provide valued programs and services that meet our mission to; " improve the quality of life for those affected by hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders through support, service, research, education and advocacy.”

Chapter News Bytes
- The 2020 Annual General Meeting and Education Day will be held on Saturday, April 18th. Keep an eye out for the location and final program! If you have requests for presentations, please contact the Chapter office!
- The dates for Family Camp at Luther Village are July 19th to the 25th. We will notify members of the registration date once all the funding for the program is in place.
- Here's a tip for members using a Bayer product and accessing KOKONNECT for home care supplies. Be sure to give KOKONNECT the quantity of each item you need to last you six months. Members have reported that doing this has been helpful!
