Climate Concert

The Garden Shoppe, located at 600 S. Rosemary Avenue Suite 168, is offering a fun night featuring local musicians in efforts to support the non-profit, Citizens’ Climate Lobby which is an advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change. The concert will take place Friday, February 28 from 7 – 11:30 p.m. Cost to attend is $5. Paint Night

The 500 Block of Clematis Street is teaming up with Paint N’ Drink to bring art into the streets every Saturday at 3 p.m. For $25, you are provided with a canvas and supplies and instructed course on how to paint a mermaid while being served drinks from local businesses! Space is limited. For more information and to reserve your spot, visit paintndrink.com.

BAM Festival

Books and Music Festival is bringing together authors, teachers, students, families and the community to share their love of books on Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. From story times to lectures to workshops, there’s so much to experience at BAM Festival. For more information and a full schedule of events, visit BAMwpb.org

Join a special lecture on Jane Austen’s Era titled the Leap Year Ladies this Leap Day at the Mandel Public Library. Professor of English at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Dr. Susan Jones will look beyond Austen’s main characters and examine the ladies who quietly conspire to get their man.
