Dear MUSIC TEACHER LA Families,

We are excited to announce our Spring Recital Concerts 2020, an opportunity for any and all MUSIC TEACHER LA students to get on stage and show everyone what they have been working on!
Performing is such a valuable part of the experience of learning music that we would like to encourage everyone–regardless of age or experience level–to give it a shot. Songs can range from a snippet of the first thing you learned in your first lesson a few weeks ago, to something more advanced you have been working on for months.
Our recitals take place in 30-45 minute sessions limited to up to 22 performers per session. Each student gets to perform one song of their choosing with whatever instrumentation they like (solo, student-teacher duet, or even students-teacher trio.).
We will make a second announcement that will include the recital preparation tips and specific time of your recital.
Spring Break
Each year we receive inquiries about increasing the lessons times or trying new instruments during the spring break. If you're intending to do so this year, please call in the office or email your requests as early as possible to guarantee the placement for the desired day time.
Our digital make up policy allows you to cancel a lesson by calling in the office during our business hours, at least 12 hours before your scheduled day time.
Your teacher will create a customized makeup lesson during your absence any time you miss a lesson. Then, you’ll receive an email from our office with the links to personalized documents, video, images or YouTube links.
Learning New Instruments
We are happy to see many students this year requesting lessons for new instruments in addition or instead of the ones they are currently studying. As always, we will try to accommodate specific requests, such as scheduling new lessons with the particular teacher, whom you met at one of our recitals. However, we do not guarantee the specific day time availability you will ask for.
Students Referrals
Thank you to all who are referring us new students this year. Your continuous support and commitment to insuring that MUSIC TEACHER LA remains a successful and thriving music school in Los Angeles is admirable and highly valuable to us! You will receive $50 on your account for every referred student who will sign up with MUSIC TEACHER LA.
