We are pleased to announce we will be hosting the Tibetan monks from Gaden Shartse Monastery! Help us welcome this group by attending the wonderful cultural events they are offering.

       Viewing of the Sand Mandala
will continue Tuesday-Friday, April 14-17 from 10:00am-6:00pm and Saturday, April 18 from 10:00am until the closing ceremony.

MINDFUL COMPASSION PRACTICE


Join us in cultivating mindful compassion through guided meditation and discussion. We will be working with The Thirty-Seven Practices of Bodhisattvas, an oral teaching by Geshe Sonam Rinchen, edited and translated by Ruth Sonam. We will have copies of the 37 practices, without commentary, available for those who need it.

TIMES: Thursday evenings (March 5, 12, 19, 26) 7:00 pm

AFRICAN DRUMMING CLASS



Join us for a fun African drumming class! We learn and play songs from a variety of
West African countries, all of which have been passed on directly by master players     and teachers. Release stress, enjoy some uplifting songs, and build connection to our community. No experience is required. Bring your drum or, if needed, drums
will be available to use.

The class is $10 for our teacher and space rental; drum rental is $2.50.
Scholarships are available.

TIMES: Wednesday, (March 11 and 25) at 7:00 pm
