Celebrating 100 Years of Waldorf Education

CONTENTS

Spring is around the corner!

Dear <<First Name>>,

Our school is enjoying a week free from classes but, not everyone is on holiday. Our high school students are busy in work placements across the community supporting local businesses and volunteer organizations. The program is a win-win as our students acquire the required volunteer hours needed to graduate while building relationships outside of the school that often result in part-time jobs when the placements are finished.

One of our 10th-grade students, Luca F., is working with Ocean Ambassadors Canada, where he is engaged with Edgemont Village Plastic Bag Free a single-use plastic reduction initiative. He invites you to join in for the launch event on Friday evening at Highlands United.

The program will include eurythmy, drama, singing, orchestra, and recitation, and a display showcasing student handwork, ceramics and pottery, woodwork, drawing and painting.

Early bird pricing is in effect until March 4 for our community celebration - Spring Mingle! We're looking for a few awesome volunteers to help with set up, take down, and possibly with service during the event. Come speak to Mary or Laura to get involved.
Pick up your tickets here.
Congratulations to our Sr Girls Basketball team for making it to the playoffs. We are so proud of them all! A massive thank you to coach Mike for his dedication to the team. Farewell to the Grade 12s who played their final season of High School basketball.

GRATITUDE

I hope everyone had a wonderful Family Day holiday, and that you were able to take some time to be with the ones you love this week. We've shared some enriching ProD days and look forward to welcoming everyone back to class next Monday.

Blessings,
