This collection showcases historic images, sketches, and paintings owned by the Moulton family and friends. We will display pieces from the Bowers Museum and the Festival of Arts' permanent collections. Discover Nellie Gail Moulton's personal history at El Toro (modern day Lake Forrest) and the Moulton Ranch. This lady's impact in the area will be highlighted at this historic house gallery in San Clemente. Mr. and Mrs. Ole Hanson, the founder of the city and personal friends of the Moultons, once lived at Casa Romantica.
Curated by Maurine St. Gaudens Studios, Who Was Nellie Gail Moulton? is the first comprehensive exhibition in over 50 years by Orange County pioneer, artist, and philanthropist.
