Recently, local artist Julie Delfs visited the children to make a "Fish with a Wish", the first of many art enrichment classes Delfs plans to offer at the shelter.
Along with this, The Delfs Family also donated over 20 book bags filled with art supplies & activities for the children at shelter in memory of their late daughter, Ana Delfs, a talented artist herself, who passed away in December.
