The 3rd annual Thank A Resident Week is set to begin on Monday February 24th through February 28th. Please consider honoring your peers with whom you have worked this year. You may use the form multiple times. Please see the attached flyers for activities that have been planned by hospitals in celebration of residents and fellows.

Call for Gold Humanism Honor Society Nominations
Please nominate colleagues for membership in the UB Richard T. Sarkin /Emeritus Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS)! The selection process begins with peer nominations and ends with the induction of 15-20 residents/fellows on Monday, April 20, 2020.  UB has one of only 13 GHHS Resident Chapters in the whole country!

The nomination deadline is Sunday, March 8th.  The peer nomination form is now active, and has been revised this year to invite you to share stories of resident humanism in less than 350 words. Thank you for participating!

UBCCC Summer Camp 2020

Residents of the Fruit Belt Neighborhood gather regularly with medical students and faculty to discuss short readings centered on African American issues. A discussion on an article by Nikole Hannah-Jones published in the New York Times 1619 Project (attached) will take place on:
