Secure Your Student's Seat Today

We've had a great response to reenrollment and are excited about the new families who will join the PVCP community next year. The reenrollment fee is now $200, and wait lists will begin as classes continue to fill up.

Steps to Reenrolling:

1. Log in to the Parent Portal.
2. Click on tab labeled "Online Forms."
3. Select the student, select the "2020/21 Reenrollment Form" and click "Start New Form."
Most of the student's info will be automatically populated. Please only change if necessary.
4. Once you have completed the form, click on "Shopping Cart (Submit)" under "Application Actions" in the menu on the left.
5. You will be brought to a checkout page where you will be required to pay the reenrollment fee. No processing fees will be charged for either ACH or credit card payments.
6. Once the payment method has been entered, please click "Confirm."
7. You will receive a confirmation e-mail that your reenrollment has been processed for that student.

There's still time to join the ladies of PVCP for a high tea in the garden! This event is open to all women - students and moms, grandmas and friends. The event will be hosted at the McPherson house by Noemi McPherson and Becky Lindblade. Fine teas will be brewed and delicate finger sandwiches shall be enjoyed. Please join us for a relaxing afternoon of fellowship with new and old friends on Sunday, April 5, at 2 p.m. The cost is $25 per attendee. Please bring payment to Mrs. Chadwick at the front desk.

Project SHINE 2020

PVCP's annual serve-a-thon, Project SHINE, will launch following spring break! Project SHINE is an opportunity for our students to learn about and serve in various ministries and non-profits throughout Phoenix while supporting specific needs at PVCP. We are excited to utilize an online giving platform this year as opposed to paper mailers. Watch for an e-mail and flier with additional information after spring break.

School Contest Winners!

Mrs. Guy submitted student artwork to the annual Arabian Horse Art Contest, and PVCP had several winners: Brooklyn Namie (4A Top Ten), Mina Habeeb (1A Champion), Rachel Browne (2A Top Ten), and Wyatt Shaw (2A Champion). Great job, students!

Thank You for Making the 2020 Career Fair a Success!

Thanks to all who volunteered to make the upper school career fair a success! This was a great opportunity for students to hear from more than 20 speakers from wide-ranging careers. The impressive list of speakers included a filmmaker, lawyer, hotel manager, neuropsychologist, director of IT services, U.S. Navy representative, and more. Thank you to Mrs. Levene for her dedication to this event and for the hard work of the junior class.

Kindergarten through 8th Grade Family Fun Night

Family Fun Night will be Friday, March 6, from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Fraley Center. This event is a fundraiser for the PE department hosted by Mrs. Wilson. The night includes dodgeball, pizza, cookies, and drinks, all for only $10 per person! Invite the whole family! Please contact Mrs. Wilson at dwilson@pvcp.org for questions or additional information.

PVCP 2020 TALENT SHOW

Tax Credit Reminder

Even though December 31 has come and gone, it's not too late to make a contribution to an approved STO to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when filing your 2019 taxes. Arizona law gives you until April 15 to make a contribution, which means you can determine how much you owe the State of Arizona and simply redirect that money to support Christian education. We strongly encourage all of our families to consider making a contribution to APSTO, an STO started by friends of PVCP and responsible for over $300,000 in direct contributions to PVCP since its inception, in order to reduce your Arizona tax liability.

If you have any questions about how to make a contribution, please don't hesitate to contact Dorina Wilson, PVCP's liaison with APSTO, at dwilson@pvcp.org.

Graduation Week Lodging

Do you need extra room for guests traveling to town for graduation? PVCP parent Lynn Nixon has a short-term rental available. The house has three bedrooms and two baths and is very close to campus. $2 Jeans Days are a PAC fundraiser that supports PVCP teachers, their classrooms, and the school. Jeans Days are the first Friday of each month. The next Jeans Day is March 6. If you did not pre-pay for the year, you may pay the home-room teacher the exact change of $2.00. Dress Code Requirements for $2 Jeans Day: Uniforms, PVCP logo shirts, or Spirit Wear t-shirts may be worn and do not need to be tucked in.
