with Northwest Area Foundation in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 21-24, 2020.
Oweesta is excited to partner with Northwest Area Foundation to offer this Native CDFI Practitioner Certification Program - Fundamentals Week. This four-day, Fundamentals Week training will orient Native Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) practitioners to the Native CDFI field and help them understand more about different aspects of Native CDFI operations. This Fundamentals Week will help participants become certified Native CDFI practitioners and strengthen your work in your organizations and Native communities. Oweesta is partnering with the Northwest Area Foundation. Lanalle Smith and Florence Ludka from Oweesta will lead this training. We will be covering a range of CDFI topics, including: history of the industry, CDFI products & services, basic financial management, capitalization, measuring impact, outreach, policies and procedures, lending, client management, and other relevant topics.
The Native CDFI Practitioner Certification Training - Fundamentals Week will be held at the Northwest Area Foundation, located at 60 Plato Blvd #400, St. Paul, Minnesota 55107. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
