Get to know CAEP Staff and fellow EPP's

#CAEPCon provides a unique opportunity to interact directly with CAEP Staff, as well as peers to develop a better understanding of the
CAEP Accreditation Process and CAEP Standards. Previous CAEPCon attendees have enjoyed the opportunity to obtain a detailed explanation of the accreditation process, gain a greater understanding of the standards and being able to meet CAEP staff and fellow colleagues face-to-face. At CAEPcon you will find there is a sense of community and problem-solving.
CAEPCon works to provide attendees with multiple perspectives at each presentation. At any given session, presenters may be CAEP Staff, board members, accreditation Councilors, site visitors, and/or members of EPPs with accreditation process experience.

Gain Vital Information and Resources

#CAEPcon provides interactive learning experiences through sessions that focus on important topics such as quality assessments, data literacy, diverse clinical practices, equity,  demonstrating program impact, developing a quality assurance system, and more!

Share and Collaborate

#CAEPCon provides educator preparation providers (EPPs) the opportunity to share innovative ideas, continuous improvement experiences, transformational practice, and evidence-supported successes with other EPPs. CAEPCon encourages educator preparation providers to network and share best practices while gaining new ideas.

Elementary school teachers need a deep understanding of math concepts themselves—and the skills to teach those concepts. Elementary teachers also need a grasp of advanced math topics and how concepts build on one another in order to prepare students for the material they’ll encounter in middle grades and high school. However, research has found that many primary grade teachers lack the knowledge and skills needed to teach math effectively. Take a look at:
