Is it time to make some new friends?
We can all agree that cat people make the best friends --- cat people are warm, helpful, and compassionate. When you need a friend, a cat-friendly person can be counted on!
And cats? Well, we all know they make the best companions --- hands down. Or rather, paws down!
We have 2 cool ways to make some new friends coming up!
First off, stop by PetSmart this coming weekend to meet some kitties looking for their forever home. There are amazing cats from all over the area waiting for your love.
And then the following weekend, come by the shelter! We will be having an awesome art show to benefit the shelter, complete with lovely wine with new friends!

You have the power to help Salem's smallest kitties. You are their lifeline.
Warning: this is a sad story with a happy ending. We cropped the photo intentionally.
We have had multiple cases of very sick kitties in need of intense medical care since Christmas. This is a photo of a kitty from a litter that was surrendered to us recently (we cropped it because it is heartbreaking). The amazing good Samaritan who brought them to us told us that a stray mama kitty brought them each of her kittens, one by one.
These kitties were extremely sick and one has since passed away - we did everything we could to save this baby. These babies had been suffering for a long time on the streets - they were having trouble eating, their eyes were glued shut, they were dropping weight fast, and they were just not able to help themselves.
We admitted these kitties into our medical ward right away.
They are doing better - starting to eat on their own, playing, and becoming healthy, happy kittens. We are so excited! With time, their medications, and all the love we can give them, they should make a full recovery and be available for adoption.
YOU are the reason we are able to help save these babies. YOU and other good people are the lifelines for these homeless kitties who cannot fight the treacherous streets any longer. So please come by one of our upcoming events and meet each other and our team! And maybe your next kitty is waiting for you!
Thank you for all your help ---- the little kitties of Salem are lucky to have you on their team.
