EMERGENCY
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak
WORLD PANDEMIC 2020

We hope this missive finds you and yours in good health.

Due to the COVID-19, and the fact that WHO declared World Pandemic, we are contemplating the idea of postponing the European School of Theosophy from 12-17 October 2020 to 12-17 October 2021. We will wait until June to issue a final position. As a result, we will not release the programme nor open for registrations.

In case of postponement, the EuST 2021 will be at the same venue in Scotland, focusing on the same theme The Mystery of Consciousness, there will be no substantial changes in the programme.

We urge you to follow the safety protocols and guidelines suggested and/or imposed by your country. In doing so, you are not only protecting yourself but most importantly, others also.

In closing, we quote the Orphic Hymn dedicated to Asclepius, the healer, inventor of medicine the averter of ills:

Asclepius healer of all, master physician,
You charm the many pains, misery, and disease of man,
Soothing, doughty one, come bring back health,
And end my maladies and the strident certainty of death.
Oh life-giving Boy, averter of ills, blessed one!
Mighty honoured son of Phívos Apóllohn,
Foe of disease, perfect ally of Yyíeia,
Come, happy one, saviour, lead my life to a fortunate end.

The Mystery of Consciousness
European School of Theosophy 2020/2021

We are pleased to announce that the European School of Theosophy 2020/2021 will be held at Newbattle Abbey in Edinburgh, Scotland, from 12 to 17 October. Its theme is “The Mystery of Consciousness.” At the moment, confirmed guest speakers are Edi Bilimoria and P. Krishna. We will be sending out the full programme on February 2020/2021

In parallel with the EuST, we will be also organising an art exhibition entitled LUX PERPETUA displaying the wonderful symbolist and visionary artwork of
Joma Sipe. It is the first art exhibition the EuST is organising as part of an attempt to create a network of artists focusing on Theosophy and esotericism.
