1. Welcome to Ugenie
 
WHAT IS UGENIE?
Ugenie is a customisable mobile platform which provides businesses with an easy way to target personalised content to members, customers or employees via a tailored, private and branded mobile solution. But what we love about the platform is that it is very community-focused – it enables communities of all kinds, including event communities, to better connect on their own terms.
 
WHY WE DECIDED TO USE IT FOR THE EXPO
Although there are other event based platforms out there, we decided to use Ugenie for our hub this year for three important reasons: 

(i) Ugenie enables us to share important information directly with our exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, visitors and supporters before, during and after the event. During the Expo, everyone can turn to the community dashboard to find important schedule, exhibitor and speaker information that can be very useful on the day of the event. With many other event apps, the sharing stops once the event is over; however, with Ugenie, we are able to keep you connected with the Ealing business community even after the two-day Expo ends. Stay tuned for more details about how we will continue to use our Ealing Business Expo Hub to keep connecting after the doors close on the 24th. 

(ii) Everyone who registers for a ticket to attend the Expo is invited to join the community, whether they attend the Expo in person or not. There is also the opportunity for additional exposure for confirmed exhibitors. 

(iii) Ugenie is an Ealing-based business, and a former exhibitor whom we wanted to support.

2. Ealing Council and A2Dominion return as sponsors
As we start the four-week countdown to Ealing Business Expo 2020, we have the happy news to share that Ealing Council and A2Dominion Group are once again supporting our event as headline sponsors. Our other 2020 headline sponsors are The Boutique Workplace Company, Galactica IT Group, and Attend IT. 


3. Come up and see me in Hounslow
Head to Stand 17 at the Hounslow Festival of Business on Thursday 27 February to say hello, and find out anything you still would like to find out about the Ealing Business Expo. The Festival of Business is organised by Expo 2019 and 2020 exhibitor, Hounslow Chamber of Commerce.
