This year, the UKBlues Federation has decided to ring the changes regarding the selection of the acts that will take part in the 2020 UKBlues Challenge which will take place on 19^th September 2020 at a location which will be announced very soon.

In the past we have invited a panel of over 700 people drawn from across the blues spectrum in the UK to submit nominations but for this year, only Full members of the UKBlues Federation plus UK Active members of the European Blues Union will be invited to take part in this nomination process.



In addition, a fifth act will be chosen from those appearing at the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival in Colne at the end of August 2020 as part of the Under The Radar Project jointly organised by the Festival and the UKBlues Federation.

The winner of the 2020 UKBlues Challenge will be invited to represent the UK at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January 2021 and the European Blues Challenge in Chorzów, Poland in April 2021.
