Yet another month has flown by, a month which was packed full of exciting projects.
We have been working hard to develop our Youtube Channel. Over the past weeks, I have been recording all the Dominant and Diminished 7ths set for Grades 5, 6, 7 ABRSM. I have found that it greatly helps my pupils if they can practice these tricky scale requirements online with me during their practice at home.
If you are working towards these Grades, do please have a go and check them out. They are published in the series "Break it Down and Practise Violin Together". Teachers among you: please tell your students about this - the videos are there to be watched!
Last month, you may remember that we introduced the practice reminder emails.
It turned out that these are a great success. Lots of students signed up for these and progress has improved dramatically. Please go ahead and sign up if you feel this might help you.
Spring is nearly here, so why not Spring-Clean your violin technique and review the videos on Vibrato and Bowing technique?
I hope that we may continue to inspire your violin playing this month.
All good wishes,
Henriette

Ask any violin-related question 🎻
I am very excited to be launching the new Live Pro-Am Strings question and answer sessions.
The first session took place on Sunday 1st March, and I hope that you were a part of it. If not, I shall be doing these more frequently on Youtube. Do visit the Pro-Am Strings YouTube channel if you have not already done so.

Exciting things are happening on our YouTube Channel.
Apart from all our concertino and other technique videos, we are currently running a new series "Learn to play the Violin (Suzuki method) in 30 days". This is a course for complete beginners. Days 0-6 have already been released, and the new lessons will be published every few days. Join in now and start at Day 0.

Our Facebook Group "Fans of Pro-Am Strings" is the place for discussions.
I would like to kick off our March discussions with the question:
What kind of Violin Videos do you watch most on Youtube?
