Surf legend and influence for "The Dude" in The Big Lebowski. He became the voice of the subculture in the ’80s for inventing cult garments under the name of Jimmy’Z.

Janice paints both representational and abstract pieces, but abstract is her true love. In her paintings Janice tries to interpret or respond to an idea or an emotion, but most of all she tries to make something beautiful.

The importance of the sea in maritime communities is evident in the work of three painters: Alex Weinstein, Wendy Stillman, and Marlene Yamada. Their work spans from abstract to representational, and the idea of ocean is represented through specific cultural references, philosophical theories about nature and beauty, and the physicality and motion of water.
