The first order of business to kick-off the cycling season is to have our annual Potluck, which will be held at Nature at The Confluence (NATC) located at 306 Dickop St. in So.Beloit. on SATURDAY, March 7, starting @ 5:00 p.m.
At the present time only 4 people have replied that they will be attending the POT LUCK--if we don't have at least 15 people the event will have to be cancelled so don't wait until the last minute to confirm your attendance to: litespeedrick@gmail.com
Here is a flier that indicates who should bring what based on the 1st initial of their last name:
Please respond to: litespeedrick@gmail.com if you can make it. Responses are needed by Wednesday, March 4, so we can plan accordingly.
Here is an opportunity to participate in "healthy fundraising event" to benefit our local YMCA:

BIFF Connections
Finally, for those who will be in town for the 2nd weekend of BIFF, there are two films that are highly recommended to consider viewing. They are "Will to Live" and "Kupenda," both of which will be shown at the same venues with the first screening on Friday 2/28 @ 7:30 p.m. at Domenicos and the second screening on Saturday 2/29 @ 7:30 p.m. at Bagels & More. The filmmakers are Friends of LiteSpeed Rick & Rita. "Will to Live" is about a Wisconsin Logger who sustains an accident in the woods and "Kupenda" is about a Village in Africa that cares for locals who have a disability. The first time the "Kupenda" filmmakers came to Beloit was in 2008, when their Film "Adventures for the Cure" won the People's Choice Award. Here is the website where tickets can be purchased ahead of time: https://beloitfilmfest.org/
