This year we are partnering up with our friends again at the Down Syndrome Inclusive Education Foundation (DSIEF), a non-profit organization that promotes inclusive education for children with Down syndrome. This year we are aiming to raise R20,000 for this cause! This year Escape & Explore have managed to get an amazing turnout of 14 Adventure guides and Adventure architects cycling for the cause and raising money - Keep your eyes open for Team DSIEF!
DSIEF starts with early intervention for infants including structured play and builds to mainstreaming at preprimary school where all the benefits of peer-learning are combined with extra support from trained assistants and specialist speech, physical and music therapy.
