Hepa Jam: Calling for Volunteers 📣

Hello Friends!

In 2019, Book Bunk launched a series of events and programmes geared towards breathing life into the McMillan Memorial Library network in the CBD (Banda Street), Kaloleni and Makadara, demonstrating the potential for these spaces to provide a home, albeit temporarily - for Nairobi’s creativity.

HEPA JAM! was one of our 2019 hits. Under this programme, library opening hours were extended from by three hours to 8pm (instead of 5pm) from Tuesday to Thursday and until 4pm on Saturdays. This year, we seek to further extend these hours to 8pm on all weekdays and expand the scope of activities these libraries can host during these extended hours.
We are calling for volunteers to donate their time and skills to HEPA JAM! in 2020, offering Nairobi’s residents a variety of skills, services and experiences.
