Healthwatch Wandsworth Assembly
Thursday 5 March 2020
1pm - 3:30pm

Have you always wanted to know about Mental Health services that are available in Wandsworth?

We often get requests about mental health services in the borough, so come to the assembly and hear from Talk Wandsworth about the services that they offer. They provide free confidential help for problems such as stress, worry and low mood. We'll have Robert Dyer talk about Youth Mental Health Services and Silverlined Horizons will talk about youth engagement and empowerment.

Do you want to have your say about the services that we'll be talking about?

Our public events give local people an opportunity to hear about - and feedback on - health and social care topics that are of concern to them. We also promote local NHS and community services that people might not know about.

Our events are for everybody, from healthcare professionals to people that use health services and anyone with an interest in local services.

On the agenda:

  • Help elect your local Healthwatch committee members.
  • Hear more about and discuss local talking therapies in Wandsworth and how they reach different communities (Talk Wandsworth - IAPT)
Noel Brown, Wellbeing Lead, Talk Wandsworth
Helen McVeigh, Service Manager, Talk Wandsworth
  • New ways mental health services are supporting young people.
Robert Dyer, Commissioning Manager for Children’s and Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group.
  • How are young people getting involved in deciding how mental health services develop in the future.
Frankiee Carr, Head of Programmes and Development, Silverlined Horizons.

Everyone is welcome and it is free to attend, a light lunch will be provided.

Thursday 5 March 2020
From 1pm to 3:30pm at:
