State of the Map US 2020 ~ Logo Contest!

Do you like to design? Design our logo for the 2020 State of the Map US conference in Tucson! Your design will be seen by hundreds of people and you attend the 3 day conference for free. Read the announcement on our blog and find detailed information on the Wiki page. Winner will receive 1 free conference registration (value $200), $300 in travel reimbursement, and a limited edition 10th Anniversary t-shirt. 

Entries must be submitted via email by 11:59PM PT on Sunday March 22, 2020.

Spotlight - Accepting Nominations for Mapper of the Month!

There are so many volunteers going above and beyond to help improve OpenStreetMap and grow our US mapping community. Every month, we will highlight the efforts of a volunteer doing great things. Spotlight Mappers will receive an OSM t-shirt & a discount to State of the Map US.

2020 OpenStreetMap Awards

The OpenStreetMap Foundation is accepting nominations for the annual OSM Awards, to be awarded at the global State of the Map in Cape Town, South Africa. Know someone deserving of the award? You have until May 10th to nominate them. More information available on their website

OpenStreetMap & Google Summer of Code

OpenStreetMap is a Google Summer of Code project, and starting March 16, you can submit your ideas. Mentors are also needed. More information on the types of projects and submission information can be found on the Wiki and GSoC page
