Greetings to all our Members and Devotees !
February is a special month for us with the celebration of Thaipoosa Thiruvizha (தைப்பூச திருவிழா) 2020, an auspicious and religious day for Tamizh community and Lord Murugan devotees.
Thaipoosam 2020 was celebrated with Paal Kudam (பால்குடம் எடுத்தல்), Kaavadi (காவடி எடுத்தல்), Thirumuzhuku (திருமுழுக்கு), Tirupugazh Vazhipadu (திருபுகழ் வழிபாடு) and Deepa Aradhanai (தீப ஆராதனை). The motive of Thaipoosam festival is to pray to God and receive his grace so that bad traits are destroyed. Many volunteers and donors participated in the event and it was a great success.
Thanks to our Religious Committee for leading the celebration and pooja. Also thanks to our Religious Advisor, Thiru. Ravi Shankar for spearheading the pooja. Special thanks to IT, Marketing and Food Committee members for taking care of communications and organizing food.
Again, our sincere thanks to all our members, sponsors, volunteers and devotees for coming out and celebrating with us.
The Temple administration is aggressively planning to complete Phase I Temple construction with deities by 2021 and they are working hard to make this a reality. Thank you all for your continued support and generosity !
