I hope that you are doing well today.  As I was in prayer I was reminded of how mindful God is of what's going on in my life.  I want you to know that the same is true for each one of us.  God not only knows the details of our life but He deeply cares for us as we walk through all that life brings as the days and months unfold.  No matter what we face or what season we are going through, we can be encouraged because God knows us, love us and is working out His will in our lives in it all and through it all (Romans 8:28-29).  

The last week has been significant in the life of our Church for sure.  First, we had our Unity in Prayer event last Wednesday night and it was amazing.  The whole evening was saturated with the presence of God as we worshiped and prayed together with people from other churches.  I want to THANK YOU for your generosity as we raised over $15,000 to support the ministry of Young Life in Federal Way.  Praise God! 

Also, we had our Youth Retreat this last weekend and it was a powerful time as God ministered to and through our kids.  We had several respond to God by giving their lives to Jesus, rededicating their hearts to Him, receiving the baptism with the Holy Spirit, receiving healing in their body and soul and giving God glory through worship and testimony.  It was an honor for me to spend a couple days with our youth and leaders as we simply watched God do what He always does.  I want to thank our youth pastors and leaders as well as those who gave a weekend to come and support the retreat - you did an outstanding job in serving the Lord and our young people.  

While I was away at the youth retreat, we had Pastor Rich Root (our Hispanic Congregation Pastor) preach during our weekend services.  He gave a great word on "Seeking God's Direction" and I encourage everyone to click the link below to watch or listen.  We had many people give their lives to Jesus and acknowledge their need to know and follow Him - AMEN!!!!!

I am so grateful to be among you and pastor this amazing Church.  I am praying that we continue to see a reviving work of the Holy Spirit both in and through us as we continue to lay down our lives for the glory of God.  I look forward to seeing you this weekend as we continue our series on "Hearing God's Voice."  May God bless and strengthen you this week in Jesus name!
