A Visit to the Mosque
Last Sunday, after worship, Pastor Scott Jones accompanied the Confirmation Class to the Islamic Institute on the Tri-Faith Campus here in Omaha.  Imaan Jamal Daoudi took them on a tour and talked to them about the Muslim Faith. One confirmand's parent commented, "I love that my teen has the chance to learn about other faiths so they won't be swayed by incorrect information which causes fear and hatred."
Check out the photo of the whole group in the column below!
Ash Wednesday Services
Our Lenten theme this year is "To Be More..."  Please plan to join us next Wednesday, February, 26th as we begin our Easter journey together.  An intimate service and light (soup) supper will be held in Memorial Hall at 5:30 PM.

A pilgrimage to Southern Asia proved to be a powerful experience for leaders of the United Church of Christ, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Canada.
