NO ONE EATS ALONE

On Friday, 2/14, during lunch, students participated in a campaign to end social isolation. They decorated cookies, competed in relay races, and took pledges on what they would do to end social isolation. Be sure to encourage your students to practice kindness by inviting someone who may be alone to sit with them, or just being a good friend to someone. A little kindness goes a long way!

WE HAVE A $100 WINNER

Congratulations to 7th grader Nick who was recognized by one of our community partners for his on-time daily attendance. He was presented with a certificate, and $100 just for coming to school on time everyday. All students, throughout OUSD, are eligible to be randomly selected for this attendance campaign. Be sure to encourage your students to be on time to each class every, because Every Day Counts!

CALIFORNIA HEALTHY PARENT SURVEY

It’s that time of year again when we ask all of our families to give input on how well our school is serving your children through the California Health Kids Survey! This important tool gives schools throughout California data about how our kids and families are experiencing school. This data is tied to important funding sources as well. Please take a few moments to complete this by clicking on the Claremont parent survey.
