Ash Wednesday: A service of guided reflection

There wont be a 10.30am Service on Ash Wednesday.

Growing Young Disciples

This is open to parents, grandparents, volunteer leaders and anyone who wants to pray for the upcoming generation. Tea and coffee will be served from 9.30am and the session itself is expected to last 90mins. Contact Jonny Payne for more details: jonny.payne@lindfield.info

The Women Together team

Warmly invites you to our next event on Saturday 28th March 9.30-11.00am in church. We'll be interviewing Kasey Wayte and Dorothy Goss, two ladies in very different seasons. Testimony is always encouraging as we hear what God is teaching people. And as usual we will provide hot drinks and pastries. Do join us, particularly if you have never been before, or haven't been for a while. Time spent together chatting, relaxing and being encouraged is time well spent! Sign up in the church porch or by emailing the office.

This is a reminder that we have prepared bags of food ready and waiting which can be collected from the church office. nAlso a reminder that if you or a person you care for falls during the night and you need assistance but do not want to go to hospital, you can phone 111 to explain you need help. They will be able to advise you and check if medical assistance or just lifting assistance is needed.

Supporting the Andersons in Bolivia

All Saints have recently adopted Jonny and Olga Anderson and their family as mission partners in Bolivia, through SIM (Serving in Mission). They are doing brave and challenging work in rural communities training local pastors many of whom can’t read and write to teach the gospel.
Dave and Becca Nicholls, their rope holders, are looking for a new team to support them in All Saints. It will not require lots of commitment or time, but a willingness to pray and attend one or two events during the year, and be familiar with their work. They hope to have some fun along the way and host a South American themed evening to raise awareness of the Andersons’ work among other things! Please contact Dave and Becca by email at davenic7@googlemail.com to get involved.

Syrian refugee families' needs

Some of the congregation of All Saints are befriending and providing  support for two refugee families (10 people in total) arranged by the WSCC. They very much appreciated the bicycle, shopping trolley, freezer, chairs and various kitchen items given recently.  They now wonder if anyone can give them: raincoats (not surprising!) and looking ahead, a simple lawn mower, garden sheers, a spade, etc.
Please let Guy Rowland know if you have any offers: Tel 01444 482963 or email guy_christiane@lindfield.info
