Meet John Dupree
John Dupree has held a variety of technology sales and marketing positions during his career. Most recently, John was Senior Vice President of Business Sales for Sprint where he led a team of over 3,000 global sales professionals and generated annual revenues in excess of $13 billion. Before joining Sprint in 1998 John served as Vice President, Sales for Muratec, the US subsidiary of Murata Machinery Limited in Japan. John is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Oxford University where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar, and The Fletcher School at Tufts University. He speaks and writes frequently on business topics and is the author of The Stubborn Glebe blog.
John is currently a partner at Opus Faveo in leading venture development. Opus Faveo is a boutique venture development firm with offices in Dallas, Austin, and Vail, Colorado, dedicated to working as co-founders with a select number of start-up enterprises to increase the odds of successful commercialization of innovative technology.
