This Sunday | March 8, 2020
First service starts at 9am; second service starts at 10:45. Stay late / come early for the in-between time (10:15-10:45 or so) -- grab a cup of coffee and a snack and say hello to your friends in the other service.
This week, Pastor Justin continues our series with Jesus as Leader - Matthew 8:18-27; 9:9-13, 35-38, as we look at Jesus as Leader in the book of Matthew.
We have a year-long reading plan that goes along with the Matthew series (mostly)--click here for the digital version of our 2020 Calendar, or pick up a hard copy at the Welcome Center.

No Wednesday Night Ministries
March 11, 2020
It's Spring Break! Our Wednesday night class are taking the week off. We'll be back in full force March 18.
Youth groupers--there's something in the works. Check in with Robbie / he'll check in with you.
(The Sunday and Wednesday Foundations class will be out-of-sync for bit, until Easter Sunday comes around and sets things to right.)

Baby Dedications: March 22
A baby dedication is really more about the parents, and their commitment to shepherd and disciple their child, and us, as their church family, as we commit to come alongside the family in the journey of parenting and growing up. If you have a baby and you’d like to stand with the church and say “let’s do this!” please get in touch with Pastor Ross.

Safe Families Q & A
A few months back, Mindy Lorring shared her passion for coming alongside hurting families with the church, and her call to bring the Safe Families for Children Ministry to the Kenai Peninsula. Mindy will be in the back this Sunday and the next, after Sunday services, if you have any questions about how things are going or how you can be involved.
Find the Facebook page for the local chapter here.
Here's a google form to fill out if you're interested or would like more information.

Family Sunday: March 29
A Sunday to worship together as an extra-big family! Our kids (first grade and up) will be worshiping side-by-side with us during the service.
Nursery and classes for our pre-K kids will still be available.
Please consider coming to the first service to help make sure there are enough seats for our kids and our neighbors!

Smithwick Farewell Potluck
March 29 | after the second service
Robbie and Cara (and Louis and Leeland!) have accepted a worship ministry position at Lazy Mountain Church in Palmer, AK. We will miss them dearly, but trust the Lord’s leading and provision as they transition to a new season of ministry in a new community. Please bring a dish or two to share and we’ll celebrate the Smithwicks (and send them away with full bellies and full hearts).
