We're celebrating a new easement in Fall River Mills, CA.

A new conservation easement has recently been closed to preserve more significant land in Shasta County. Thanks to your donations and support, 463 acres of beautiful land will now be protected for many generations to come.

Pre-sale tickets for Wildways events go on sale starting April 6, 2020.

Is our state headed for another drought?

California had its driest February on record.

A large portion of the state of California received zero rainfall in the month of February. With the combination of unusually dry conditions paired with unusually warm temperatures, wildfire risk becomes a greater concern. The United States Drought Monitor currently shows much of California as abnormally dry or in moderate drought.

Volunteer Opportunity!

We are in need of help for our 2020 Wildways Kickoff.

The annual Shasta Land Trust Wildways Kickoff Fundraiser is approaching. We are looking for volunteers to help us make this event another great success! The Kickoff is our largest fundraiser of the year, and, like any of our Wildways events, it would not be possible without the help of our amazing volunteers. We will need volunteers to help before the event, during the event, after the event and the following day.

Also, with two hours of volunteering, you get a free ticket to the event!
