As we did run out of time last week, we will also be planning further for the Spring Fair, discuss the Hackney Hal;f Marathon and Bag2School initiative and any other business you might like to bring up.

 ⭐ ⭐ Trea$urer Needed ⭐ ⭐

We still would welcome another volunteer to share the responsibilities of the Treasurer role so it is manageable for everyone.

The role involves -

• Be named on the bank account and hold shared responsibility for the funds of Shacklewell families
• Prepare financial updates for Shacklewell Families meeting
• Liaise with the chairs and other committee members on matters relating to bank account, spend and funds raised
• Retain a spreadsheet of incomings and outgoings
• Prepare floats for each event
• Collect and count money following each event
• Bank money after each event
• Prepare cheques for any monies provided to the school from Shacklewell Families
• Be a signatory on the bank account
• Oversee the filling out of all bank forms (updated each time the chair or committee members change)

There will be a lot of support from the previous treasurers, and the rest of our formal leadership team, during the handover period. We do not need the treasurers to be present at every meeting, and this role would suit a parent/carer who would like to be involved in the PTA but is unable to be in school for meetings or events.
