There are 778 million people living without clean drinking water every day. Filter of Hope has a solution for clean water and our students are partners to share Jesus in Cuba.

As they serve to bring clean water, they also bring the life giving message of a relationship with God through Christ.
The campus ministry of Cru and Filter of Hope have established a partnership that has been key in having access to reach students in countries like Cuba and beyond. This Spring, Cru will send over 1,300 students from 60 universities, in partnership with Filter of Hope, to Cuba and other Latin American and Caribbean countries.
They will deliver and install life changing water filters that work for 10 years and can filter 150 gallons of water a day! After installing the filter, someone in the group will share the gospel connecting the water filter they are receiving to the spiritual truth of new life in Christ. For example, “My life was like this dirty water: sinful, separated from God. Let me tell you about Jesus; He is like this filter purifying me and making me clean before God through the power of His death on the cross and resurrection.”
The following is a testimony from a Filter of Hope trip:
“One father who received a filter had been spending hard-earned money to buy fuel to boil contaminated water. Now he was able to spend that money to send his children to school! Another family we met came to get a filter, and became Christians as a result of this ministry. No matter who you are, or where you live, everyone is in need of one thing. That one thing is Jesus Christ. Bringing lifesaving water filters to people with no access to clean water opens the door to demonstrate God's love. We gave them physical goods. They gave their hearts to Jesus."
Thanks so much for praying and supporting us!
